| Larry, a native of East Texas, and his wife Kay and their two daughters Kaci and Kori live about 70 miles North of Houston in Huntsville, where he has trained various breeds of stock dogs for more than 15 years. The Australian Kelpie being his dog of choice. Larry enjoys working with people that have a need for a broke horse or dog to help them get a job done. Larry and Kay host Cowdog Night on the first Wednesday of each month. This event started out helping a couple of friends with dog problems. It has turned into quite a monthly gathering, drawing ranchers from six surrounding counties. They come to learn about selection, evaluation, training and operating a cowdog. There is a good time had by all. |

| In 2005 Larry was named a Purina Mills LLC Influential. Larry and the Downunder Cowdogs are members of the prestigious Purina Mills Team and now conducting clinics and demonstrations educating the ranching public on how to train and operate a cowdog. Larry has also participated in Purina Mills H.O.W. (Horse Owners Workshop) meetings and Purina Mills Developing Replacement Heifer Program. Larry has also performed at various county fairs, vet clinics, ranch parties, Texas A&M University and the pre-game Super Bowl Party in Houston.
